The aroma hits you before you even reach the counter, a perfect mix of bubbling cheese, fresh dough, and savory grill scents that makes it impossible to wait patiently. The menu is delightfully straightforward but packed with choices that satisfy both classic cravings and adventurous tastes, from perfectly crisp thin-crust pizzas to hearty sandwiches stacked with generous portions of grilled chicken, steak, or Philly favorites. One of the highlights that keeps locals coming back is their signature cheesesteak pizza, where traditional Philly flavors meet that perfectly golden, slightly chewy pizza base, leaving every bite packed with flavor yet never overwhelming.

The interior manages to strike a balance between casual comfort and clean, approachable dining, with simple seating that encourages lingering over a slice or a full meal. Staff members are friendly without being overbearing, happy to suggest combos or recommend the day's special. There’s a sense of familiarity here-you can grab a quick takeout, settle in for a casual meal, or even order delivery without feeling like the quality drops.

Beyond pizza, the grill options are worth exploring. The sandwiches come with fresh bread and crisp toppings, while the salads are surprisingly hearty, offering a lighter but still satisfying option. Portion sizes are generous, reflecting the Philly-style approach to comfort food, and prices feel fair for the quality and quantity you get. Many diners appreciate how the menu manages to be both classic and innovative, respecting the city’s iconic flavors while offering something a little different from the standard pizza-and-grill fare.

What People's Say About Place

Saw a show there. I can say this, never seen such an incredible show in a pizza place. GLOM made seeing shows in venues like this fun again.

First time ordering pizza so good wigs good good customer service, fast delivery food was still hot when it arrive best I had since I move to this area I will be ordering again thank you

The gentlemen went above and beyond to help me ask my girlfriend to be my valentine. Never seen such amazing customer service like what I’ve seen at this place. Plus, it was the best philly pizza I ever ate. I’d recommend it to everyone who goes up to the city.

Best churros I’ve ever had. Weirdly from a pizza place but I’m not complaining. They have little bands play here sometimes so cute and fun atmosphere. Pizza is also delish and I don’t typically have pizza as a first choice of meal. Def go here

Saw 3 bands here it was so good who knew a pizza place would be the perfect venue, IDLY WAS THE BEST !! They killed it, and the pizza was amazing

Been going here since I moved into my freshman dorm at Temple university and It’s a staple. You can’t go wrong with anything on the menu but the pizza is a must! And the food will last you a while too. Really cool place to go, one of my all time favorites

first and foremost I apologize for the horrible pictures totally amateur but also somewhat comical, because they are not before and after pictures... they're just two pictures of the after being ransacked by my kids. The first one is a closed pizza box surely the second is an open pizza box. Guess, if the pizza was good or not...If you've somehow came across my reviews before on eateries, restaurants, hole in the walls.... whatever it may be, if they don't deserve a five-star review consuming my time thoughts and patience and to putting my thoughts into words, I will no way ever give them anything even close to resembling a five-star review. However this pizzeria has struck a hole in my heart... just as it does bring back memories of growing up in Brooklyn, New York. You could've gotten a slice and a soda and walk around and eat, it was great... however times change so do pizzerias... modernized, computerized, online ordering, so on and so forth... however one thing that did not change as their style of making a delicious Pizza I know it says Philly style Pizza and Grill... however it's truly like New York own, best I can say if you like New York thin crust squares (I did not say Chicago) you'll love this place. try it out yourself. One more thing if you decide to walk into that place and pick up or dining there, & should you encounter a salt and pepper gray-haired Asian man... Please be kind to him, he's very nice he takes the time to get your order correct every time and he takes pride in that pizzeria & his fellow members working there. So kudos to him, and may your business prosper over covid and what else the universe has to offer. I pray that you (the pizzeria) exist until the end of time.

After failing to find a decent a pizzeria in the North Philly area, my family and I decided to give "Philly Style Pizza and Grill" a chance. It was fantastic to say the least. Buffalo wings were great. Half pepperoni pizza and cheesesteak pizza were delicious. "Philly Style Pizza and Grill" will definitely be my new go-to pizzeria.
